Janet Kalulu Ngombalu is a Socio-economic professional and a Marketing Communications Specialist. Janet has been working in rural and urban development in various organizations in the Eastern Africa region. Janet works as the Regional Programmes Coordinator at the Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC), serving Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia and Burundi. Previously she was the Partnerships and Communications Manager at the Kenya National Federation of Agricultural Producers (KENFAP). Janet has 10 years experience having competently worked in managerial positions for 8 years in communications, rural and urban development, agricultural and trade programmes, human rights programmes, water, waste and environmental sanitation (WASH), and climate change. Janet also worked with Practical Action, one of the leading international NGOs in development issues. Janet has seasoned and proven ability in food security, socio-economic development, agricultural development, strategic planning, public health, communications for development, programme development and management, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and reporting.
